with Andrew Negus

As a follow-up to the recent series of Portsmouth talks, Andrew Negus takes you on a tour of this historic coastal city, bringing to life the stories, heritage and history that he has enthralled his audiences with. Along the 12th Century streets, you will walk in
the steps of royalty and harlots, convicts on their way to Australia, and even Nelson himself.
There is about 2½ miles of mostly flat walking, with a few stairs, and the tour will take approximately 2 hours.
There will also be a chance to have lunch at the pub where the tour finishes (not included in the ticket price).

15. Longham and Canford Magna Walk

Longham
This eight mile walk will take us from Longham northwards to the very outskirts of Wimborne, before shadowing the banks of the Stour to Canford Magna.
We shall then return along the Stour Valley Way. This rural route may surprise those who think that there is little open countryside remaining between Bournemouth and Wimborne.
The walk will be on good paths and tracks and is mostly flat, but may be muddy in places.
Please bring a packed lunch, and allow time for tea afterwards, (not included in the ticket price).
