Applying For Tickets

Tickets for all events marked with a Bookablemust be booked in advance. There is no entry to these events without a ticket.
Please note that Events 28 and 55 are bookable but cannot be booked through the Booking Office, You must book directly with the venue
for these events. Please follow the individual instructions on each event listing.

Due to the popularity of Heritage Week the demand for places vastly outnumbers the amount of tickets available. To ensure that everyone has a fair chance of obtaining a place on
each bookable event all tickets are allocated by ballot. The 2019 ballot took place between 9th - 12th August.

The Booking Office is open every weekday between 10am-4pm,
until the end of Heritage Week to deal with any remaining, returned or cancelled tickets.

For security reasons tickets are only issued by post or in person, we do not issue tickets by e-mail.
Personal and email applications must be supported by photographic ID. Postal applications must be accompanied by an SAE.
Please note that the address to which tickets are sent will be provided to the person hosting the event that you are attending
(and, in the unlikely event of any problems on the day, may also be supplied to the police or insurance company) but will not be passed on to anyone else.
Anyone found supplying a false address, or refusing to provide one, will be excluded from all current events and will not be eligible for any future ballots.

DAHW fully complies with the GDPR 2018 so we do not keep any personal details from visitors after September unless we have consent.
