Dorset Architectural Heritage Week is an annual event which aims to stimulate public awareness of Dorset's rich architectural and cultural heritage.
The two weekends are a part of the national Heritage Open Days but Dorset contains such a wealth of fascinating architecture that the events
continue in the County during the week too!

This is a chance to visit buildings not normally open to the public, to go on guided walks, hear talks and generally enjoy the
County’s rich historic environment, all completely free of charge!

May 2019 Update
It is with regret we have learned that Heritage Week will not be sponsored this year by the Institute of Commercial Management.
The 2019 programme will still go ahead as planned and a decision about what will happen in 2020 & beyond will be announced at a later date.
The DAHW Team would like to take this opportunity to thank the ICM for all of their generous support over the last decade,
without them Heritage Week could not have been the successful and enjoyable annual event it has proved to be.

Dorset Architectural Heritage Week 2019 will take place between
Friday 13th - Sunday 22nd September 2019

Dorset Architectural Heritage Week is organised & run by East Dorset Heritage Trust
